The centrepiece of the revitalization is the restoration of Liberty Square, the main historical public space of the city. It is based on the redefinition of the public areas, the identification of main lines and their complete repaving. The new paving is complemented by public greenery, contemporary outdoor furniture and, most importantly, a contemporary fountain in the shape of a shallow canelated spherical cap.
